Josephs (esp Shamar) we were never going to be competitive.....with them i doubt if there would have been 3 centurions...although ultimately would make no difference to the result if we are incapable of putting at the very least 300 on the board!

For the past 2-3 years our bowling has kept us competitive. The loss of the two Josephs now exposes how weak our batting is. These Guys need to come good in the 2nd innings to at least carry the game to the 4th day and maybe make India bat again. Very unlikely based on their lack of form and confidence. I think they need a Sports Psychologist.

No sports psychologist required just ability....a good eg of somebody who needed a sports psychologist was Carl Hooper who had all the God- given talent in the world but couldn't utilise it to be a great which undoubtedly he should have been!

FACTS....we are in the series with one quality bowler in seales. the good news is he'll only have to bowl in one innings per game so i guess that's a positive

Yeah gotta be one of the all time worse attacks without the 2 Joseph's....wish ppl would leave Layne alone an let him develop dunno what they was expecting of somebody with just 66 FC wickets....whilst his pace wasn't nothing to get excited about his control an hence economy @ 2.5 was tidy enough on debut.....no doubt the pace will come with experience as he gets stronger......if at this point he was fast n foolish that no doubt would be another ridicule littered debate!
