West Indies test scores for the past 2 years

Sat, Oct 4, '25 at 4:28 AM
INNINGS BY INNINGS LIST

This is CRAZY!

In the past year, in 7 test matches and 14 innings to date, we’ve passed 200 TWICE!

And our highest total was 253.

The year before that wasn’t much better.

How does Floyd Reifer retain his job?

Is there no accountability?

Recommendation....
Qualified batting coach required..... each franchisee team compulsory...Reifer learning since 2019.... will continue....till Shallow continue or CWI cease to exist..... whichever is earlier....
Head coach learning by participating in CPL.....no conflict of interest...

Oh my. I must say, you have some kind of stomach to pull up and review those stats. I instinctively knew it was bad and the figures validate my earlier post..

Is there any wonder why the finances of Cricket West Indies are so bad?. The product is bad.

This is way, way bigger than Floyd!

CWI knows the same things everyone does. The cricket apparatus is rotted. Confirmed just yesterday by its own CSOC and the 10 point challenges report the regional game faces that it adopted.

Whomever from wherever that WI can throw at the cricket won't be anywhere near enough to save it. Forty years of decline won't be halted just yet!

So, WI carry on. Fulfill international obligations as best as could be. Get to 2027 where WI will be demoted to second tier cricket and hopefully whilst there rock bottom is found and then some movement upward may take place.

There is a school of thought, in officialdom that post this cycle of the FTP sovereign nations of the composite body West Indies would unanimously decide to dissolve what exists.
