You are simply not up to the task and your backers are not your friends
And whilst you are at it take the entire board and backroom staff with you
You have been given more control and support than all of the greats combined
more than Sobers, Kanhai,Viv ,Lara, Hooper,Haynes, Adams and Gayle even Sobers was shown the door.

What makes you so special that you deserve preferential treatment.
You are an embarrassing laughing stock of a leader no amount of dressing up can save this it is a gaping wound

you have a stadium named after you that's a legacy. You were the fortunate captain as west indies won two 20/20 world cups
At your greatest triumph you told the world the board did nothing to help the team If only we could go back to those days where you played to win even if it was only to embarrass the board
At the least that board wanted you to win. This board is happy to lose with you

A great leader knows when its time to leave,your time is up pack your bags and go

@ponderiver

He should also take Shallow and Bascombe with him.

I see no lie here.

Man stfu !

This is Sammy’s 4th test as Coach and we have lost two of our best pace bowlers that helped us to stay competitive vs Oz. The batsmen have struggled for a long time as they lack proper technique and mental fortitude.

Name another XI that would have seen a different result?

Just another emotional ramble.

VOR, this is a humilating embarrassment and the less said the better. There is no positive spin on this and no excuse. 2025 has been the annus horribilissimus for West Indies cricket. Never before have we looked so hopeless. Everyone, players, management and coach must hang their heads in shame. no excuses, no pardons. This is a shitshow

He is not great leader....
He is great man manager......be administrators....or players.....

He is cleverly....preparing for Bangladesh white ball tour.... basically 3 ODIs..... very essential for direct qualification....

Carry on..Sammy...St.Lucian being criticised.... with ulterior motives....

It is the batters' deficiencies that are being exposed, it might be partially the batting coach fault that he did not prepare the batters better, also they should have had a warmup match. Hopefully they do better in the 2nd Test.

You all should leave Sammy alone.

At the end of it all, he will either go down as the saviour of West Indies cricket or the ultimate destroyer/flop.

I think this is an exciting period of West Indies cricket.

"Saviour of West Indies cricket"?

Sammy has been exposed. He is out of his depth and can no longer hide behind the performance of others -Gayle, Samuels, Bravo et al- to obscure his deficiencies and to do the things he was never capable of doing himself.

In just a lbit over a year, we have gone from our epic achievement of beating Australia in a test match in Australia for the in some 2 decades to being bowled out by them for 27 RUNS under Sammy. Any other selfless and self- respecting coach would have resign3d after that embarassment. Not the Golden Child, shored up by his enablers

All Sammy has ever done was to lead the cricketing world in profiling, claps and platitudes.

But don't only blame Sammy. He is a willing pawn of this devious debacle, put forward by those who have used him to pursue their own narrow, insular agenda, to the ultimate detriment of West Indies cricket

We hit the bottom and now digging a hole the only question is how deep we will go before someone calls and end to this debacle.

Right now I think all of the established countries and most of the associates will cut our arse in all formats

@PalsofMine

Indeed it is a shit show in India they are calling for a second tier for the west indies.
