One of my favourite player and all-rounder, watched him play when I was a child in primary school and the cricket park was just across the street. May he sleep in peace !!

Real sad news indeed... Bernard was one of my favorite cricketer...

RIP Bernard Julien....75 is a good score

Real shining star in the 70s.....with bat, ball and in the field.

Most fans felt we had a successor to the great Garfield Sobers.

First saw him play at Bourda for the touring Kent County team in the early 70s

My first memory of him was WI vs England in the early 70s when I had just started following cricket as a child. I think he got Boycott out a few times. Didn’t realize until now that the 121 he made against England was only his third test match.

WI spearhead back then was Julien, Boyce and Holder with the great Lance Gibbs.

Bernard Julien survived far longer than most believed he would. Over a decade ago, he faced a major cancer scare, and most people thought he might not make it through. But he did and was even able to become part of the TnT cricket coaching staff later on.
