Most team has multi formats players....

India... Australia...Eng.. South Africa have 7-8 players, who plays test as well as ODI....

Sammy recognised this....and although we have taken sever beating in test because of inclusion of white ball players......it would be interesting to see how they perform vs Bangladesh in ODI..

@Onionman0

Sammy already ruined a strong ODI team

@Slipfeeler

How did he ruin it? He didn't select Kirk Mckenzie?

Last time I checked that was the only format we have been doing well at?

King will not have the will to improve, if he keeps getting selected amidst his incessant failures

@Edrich

I am unsure what the fascination is with Brandon King who reminds me of a poor Man's Marlon Samuels. After 55 ODI Innings he averages 27.70. It gets worse, that in his last 10 Innings he averages 22. The sooner WI finds an opener or two ( Evin Lewis is always injured) in ODI cricket the better.

To be fair.....

Sammy is trying to go by universal play system.....all formats players to play test and ODI....

All leading teams have nearly same players for test and ODI barring few..

Since our first class red ball structure has not yielded any fruitful results....add to it the irresponsible and irrational decisions......which includes appointment of Sammy as Coach.....

I have been very critical of his appointment.....

But, the vision envisaged by Sammy..is worth a thought....but the personal chosen...like failed coaches..Reifer, Griffith...is poor..

It will be interesting to see, how West Indies plays against Bangladesh in ODIs.....how his all formats players fares...
