TTCB National Awards:Seales, Ramharack shine
FAST bowler Jayden Seales said being named the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board’s (TTCB) International Cricketer of the Year (Male) is both an honour and a motivator to continue striving for improvement.Seales, currently on tour with the West Indies team in India for a two-match Test series, was recognised for an outstanding year in international cricket during Sunday’s TTCB’s National Awards Ceremony at the National Cycling Centre in Couva.
Joining Seales among the night’s top honourees was off-spinner Karishma Ramharack, who was named the TTCB’s International Cricketer of the Year (Female). The 30-year-old was also named the 2024 First Citizens Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year. She bagged 20 wickets in 14 ODIs for the West Indies women.
The National Cricketer of the Year was Jason Mohammed while the Premiership Cricketer of the Year was Evin Lewis. Other major awards included the Administrator of the Year award that went to Ann Browne-John; the President’s Award which went to Micah Prince Joseph; and the Club of the Year, which was won by Woodland Sports Club.
