No seam and swing..Seales out of depth

Fri, Oct 10, '25 at 12:49 AM

An exception talent.....just need few yards....140-145 km.....to be effective in all conditions....

Fri, Oct 10, '25 at 12:52 AM

Unfortunately, all three seamers bowling under or around 135 km....Why not Kemar Roach..

@Onionman0

Lol took you long enough... here is the Seales thread.

They need to replace him with Akeem Jordan... tell us again how he's world class and the best bowler in the region. 😁

Just the other day when he (Phillip) was on the bench he was the savior. Now that he is playing................just another flavor of the week.

@JoeGrine

That is how it is in here

@Onionman0

Anderson bowling at 125 -130k where his pace go last series he was bowling 135-140

Who is IN their depth?

Fri, Oct 10, '25 at 9:08 AM

Cry Music was calling for him then came back to say he would not make a difference. How you calling or a man when he will not make a difference?

I agree with some that Roach would have been a better pick. He is a more skilful bowler in unhelpful conditions.

Fri, Oct 10, '25 at 9:11 AM

On a unhelpful batting surface it would help to have a bowler who can move the ball through the air at pace or bang the ball in quick back of a length at pace. Pace is the difference. Needed to take young Pitman, as he is very quick and does swing the ball through the air. A bit wayward at times, but pace is something different.

Would the two Josephs had made any difference?

@Onionman0

Seales is one of our best bowlers. Quit with the foolishness. His first experience in India so a learning experience for him. He is a quick learner.

@JoeGrine

Bare nonsense gets posted in here. This ame WI attack would've bowled WI out by now. They're bowling to proper batsmen on friendly wkts in home conditions.

Seales just needs to add reverse swing to his repetoire for later old ball spells.

@Onionman0

Hope he learning for when he returns. Also, something about Shamar, brings out the best in Seales
