Here's my point to put to bed the argument that WI has never been short of talent.

In every format when the rudiments of the game was being discovered, it was a West Indies team that were the pioneers.

What we lack among others, is the scientific knowledge to sustain the pace we set.

So does the world owe us?

Yes I believe they owe us as we kept cricket relevant for years and got a minimum share of the earnings. They may have a moral but not a legal obligation to compensate us.

Regardless I agree wit CWI that the same way they are paying CPL to host games in their islands then they should pay CWI to do the same. Especially when England, Oz and India all have large traveling parties and the promotion for the Islands is valuable.
