An improved batting performance

These two need to carry on. If we can somehow avoid the follow-on, still a long way to go, we might be able to get away with a draw.

highly improbably but this is definitely a better showing with the bat as compared to the first test

We need to bat 100 overs before I could say its a success. However I am disappointed in Roston Chase's dismissal as it was soft. We needed him to contribute something especially since he is batting in top 6.

I disagree about the "improved" performance. This is a batting wicket.

The openers should have at least posted a stand of 50.

Hopefully this is the end of the Campbell experiment.

I would rather tour with an out-of-form Brathwaite than this guy.

Athanaze still needs to learn how to convert these starts as the number 3 batsman.

He has the potential but that steely determination or concentration eludes him when it matters most.

Hopefully, Hope, Imlach and Greaves will score some runs to at least reach 250.

This is another innings loss, unless they score about 320.

@embsallie

Why not recall Jangroo?

Is not that he scored less than Campbell or Taj. So why drop him totally? I would rather see him bat than these 2 openers who are painful to watch. In fact the whole team is not pleasant viewing. Hope should make some runs tonight because the pitch is favoring spinners. So hopefully he goes on to a big score.

What has improved ? Wi like alwsys found themselves in a decent position then threw it away from 80/1 then lost four wickets softly .whst was that shot from athanaze?

@embsallie

This is a much improved batting performance,

king has failed, fin all form of cricket. I hope this is the last of him and Campbell in test cricket.
