Imlach gone playing back and missing it completely. Looked plumb but had to risk the review.

170/6 lost one wicket too many. Can we get to 200?

@voiceofreason

Persist with Imlach

theres something there

the white ball cricketer (batsmen) experiment has failed so far.

that said…..they’ve also had arguably the hardest examination (against Oz and India in India)

I have no issue with bringing them into the test team. We had to try something different. But it hasn’t worked.

They haven’t done any better than the players they replaced.

i don’t subscribe to the thought that they should be given until “easier” series against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to see whether they come good.

The batting is in a mess. Even on a batting friendly pitch like this one.

Yet, CWI insists on retaining Floyd Reifer as batting coach. It’s like he’s untouchable.

And as I type, Justin Greaves commits cricketing suicide out there.

jeezas!

Morning session tone was set when Hope and Imlach started parting full tosses and half-volleys from Bumrah and Kuldeep

@voiceofreason

However a 35 FC average usually translate to a 25 Test average.
