Well played Campbell 87* and Hope 66*! Just need to come back tomorrow and continue in the same vein. If we can make India bat again and chase 200+ will be interesting. Long way to go still 97 in arrears.

Yes we won this session. However lot of work to do to make them bat again and chase something meaningful. Speaking of Chase, he needs to get something on the board.

We have to remain optimistic. India scored 500+ easy on this pitch and it has not deteriorated much so yes its possible. One step at a time, let us erase this deficit first.

Chase has to get something out this tour, a 50 at minimum in the 2nd innings and may well give him confidence with the ball too as we will need him if they bat again. I believe New Zealand will be the deal breaker on his leadership, so he needs to get something going into that.
