Always question his shot selection and his temperament for Test cricket as he can be counted on to play a dumb shot and give his wicket away. This innings so far has been one of grit and purpose. Congratulations, however, more like this is needed to be considered a fixture in the Test outfit. Well done to Hope as well, he batted with wisdom and enough aggression to be an asset to his partner. This partnership has pushed the match into a 4th day and might just ensure India has to bat again.

Hoping he can find those 13 runs tomorrow.If he does, mentally he may kick on...I think he has enough batting talent to play at this level.

Before his current innings I was ready to give up on Campbell. We can only hope that this is the start of a new phase for him .His short comings to me has been his inability to concentrate for long periods of time.

@jamcricket

Agree on his batting talent, it is his mental resolve that is questioned.

Good for him

Always knew he was better than many before him

There's decent batting in him.

Curb the aggression that leads to silly dismissals and learning not to nibble at everything leg side and he may score more runs.

Have not been watching or following but Campbell and Hope bat well together.They have the ODI opening record of over 300 .Always thought Campbell was better suited to white ball but he has been discarded from that format .

I no longer follow Waste Indies cricket as I used to..too much dunceness all round, so can't comment on

current series but I hope these two get their tons. They NEED to.īģŋ😊īģŋ

@hubert

I wondering if they spoke with Lara (as Chrissy alluded to). Hope batting a bit outside offstump and Campbell committed when playing on the front foot to the spinners.
