@PalsofMine
It's toss up between Pierre and Shepherd...
The Independent Voice of West Indies Cricket
This is my starting 11.
The batting line-up may change according o the situation.
Chase and Mootie are the spinners.
Seales, Joseph, Shepherd and Greaves are the pacers.
I will nor be surprised in Auguste plays ahead of Jangoo and Hope keeps.
@TanteMerle
Athanaze for Shepherd. Shepherd's bowling is not likely to be effective and his batting is too inconsistent. Jangoo should keep but should not also open. If so, Hope can open
Don't understand the fixation with Brandon King as his ODI career has been poor. Justin Greaves has opened with Leewards Super 50 where he scored three consecutive tons and of course he could bowl. Sammy will stick with King as he has invested a lot in him but my team is without him:
Greaves
Athanaze
Carty
Hope
Jangoo gloves
Rutherford
Chase
Motie
Pierre
Shamar
Seales
@voiceofreason
If you swap Sheppie for Pierre you got sure batting down to 9.
Motie and Chase provide some spinning option
. Remember we not sure what wicket we gonna get cause I heard that it doesn't spin as much in bangla as it would in India and lanka
@voiceofreason
VOD consistent in his Anti-Jamaican stance, his best teams are ones without Yardies. He is yet to congratulate Campbell for the test century because if it was up to VOD, Campbell would not even be in the test squad. Now that’s consistency, albeit insular and delusional consistency..
Afghanistan just beat Bangla 3-0, how will WI compare/fare/manage/perform
+@Slippery Fella
There is no need to cast aspersions on VOR as I am not anti- Yardie. However I am Pro-WI and Brandon King has flattered to deceive more times than not. I would rather try John Campbell who has a good average of 49.60 albeit after only 6 innings. Good start.
Quit supporting mediocrity as you are the insular one to support King with an ordinary ave 28 + after 50+ games !
@voiceofreason
That’s because if you could support Sammy with a 23.0 lifetime average, then I can certainly support King with a 28.0 average.
@Slippery fella
The difference is Sammy batted at 8 With a 100 S/R and King opens the innings!
