Hope.  I still think it was like a 170-180 surface. If you give them so many runs, it forces batters to chase, it's going to be difficult. But having said that, regardless of what they spoil you for, we've got to try to find a way to make the runs.

Neither the President nor the Coach will resign. We will get platitudes and perhaps, trot out Hooper and Larry Gomes and Gordon Greenidge and the poor performances will continue. I no longer feel shame over West Indies cricket.

There's no plan for improvement, we rally behind insular rallying cries, and celebrate when mediocre players get call up, all the while we continue on our downward trajectory.

Can't blame the players, the do their best, there's no structure in place to help them. Every loss brings a "hopefully we learn from this". How ? Do they have sessions where they play back a player's inning and critique and give constructive advice on how to improve ? Are there anything in place to monitor players going back home and working on corrective actions ?
