Zero tons, 25 batting avg. and batting at #3?

Thu, Oct 23, '25 at 10:49 AM

Imagine WI new #3 batsman is yet to average more than 25 and does not have a FC or List A ton...

Is this the new standard by 27? Or yuh just gotta play for a team that 27 coaches and you could walk into the WI team?

A special bunch running cricket in the region...

@anthonyp

Saw him come in at 3 and thought "why isn't he coming in lower ?"

@LBW375

Wrong question; why is he in the team?

Thu, Oct 23, '25 at 11:58 AM

i am not blaming Auguste for the loss but it is bizarre that the man who scored a century on debut against this same team and who has shown form recently has not got a play before at least 4 other batsmen on this team. Anyway, time to bring out the licks pie again.

@PalsofMine

That player does play for 27 team in the CPL?

If not, he should consider moving to that franchise next year. He will be the first name on the team sheet in all formats. īģŋ😁īģŋ

After the runaway success of Raymon, then why not?

@VIX

Well to be fair, Reifer had a FC ton to his name.

Even young Jewel Andrew had couple tons to his name before he made his debut.

This fella is yet to score one or even average 25 in List A... but he's batting at #3 in a WI team.

Would be interesting to hear 27 reason for selecting him to an ODI squad... plus batting him at #3.
