There has been a call for the dropping of Brandon King, especially by VOR-lite on the basis of poor performance.

Let me state for the record, Brandon King is the only WI player I have ever touted on this forum going as far as to christen him a poor man's Kane Williamson. With that said, on the basis of his performance, or lack thereof, Brandon King should be dropped.


I now ask the Triumvirate (especially VOR-lite who has been vociferous in his call for the dropping of King), can you say sammy deserves to be relieved of his coaching duties on the basis of poor results?

you think he is Johnson Charles? If King goes he gets a place and if Sammy goes he loses his Stand?

Again Sammy should be graded on his overall performance over a 2-3 year period since he became all-format Coach. So far he has brought us into auto- qualification for the World Cup. We now have to maintain it.


Brandon was given along enough run and he has not produced the goods. You could say it's Sammy's fault for persisting with the Passenger for so long as I did warn him about this.


OH btw Brandon is no poor Man's Kane Williamson, a poor Man's Marlon Samuels will be more appropriate.

  1. How many years did Coley get as full time head coach? You his arch-worshipper, can only point to one "accomplishment" in 2+ years...ONE! How different is that from King one good knock every now and again?
  2. Failing to beat Ireland, England, Australia, Nepal (its his team), Bangladesh (home/away) on the trot in a series.
  3. A WI world record and second most disgraceful Test score, just failing to eclipse the world record.
  4. Failure to win any Test series.


In other words, his tenure has been marked by FAILURE.

Man shameless; give Sammy 2-3 yrs but give King 2 test series/4matches. Cyan mek dis up! By the way every test we lost since King's debut has been King's fault.😀
