Hope and the batting.

HOPE 5951 ODI runs avg 50.00

CARTY 1554 ODI runs avg 44.40

RUTHERFORD 656 ODI runs avg 46.85

JANGOO 153 ODI runs avg 38.25

POORAN 1986 ODI runs avg 39.66

HETMYER 1543 ODI runs avg 31.58

The loss of Pooran means that once Carty and Rutherford cannot support Hope then our batting is not competitive as all the other batters are avg sub 30. So then how could we afford to ignore Jangoo? He should have played in all three matches vs Bang!

Sammy is a big dunce !

Hope is your main batsman so why he continues to burden him with wicket keeping duties mystifies me.

Hope is now in his 30’s

look in this crucial match ,the poor guy kept wicket for 50 overs and within 10 overs he was already at the crease.

What Sammy has against Jangoo???And Josh DaSilva ?!!

Hope doesn't have to keep if he does not want to. All Hope has to say is I think its best that I be relieved of the gloves. In any case the stats show that in ODI cricket his performance has not been affected by his gloves, nevertheless I agree to prolong his career we need him to relinquish the gloves.

From early I said play Jangoo let him take the gloves and Hope can bat at 3/4. We need to get that opening slot sorted and Roston Chase is not good enough to command a space in this team.
