@openning

I supported that boycott.

You should be ASHAMED to say that!!!!!

There is no UNIVERSE that Anderson Cummings is in the same league as Kenneth Benjamin as a fast bowler.

Curtly Ambrose PUBLICALLY said that it was shameful because there is no comparison between them.Looking at their records one would have to agree with Curtly.

As a matter of fact I would go further and state that Linden Joseph of Guyana was a better fast bowler than Cummings.

In that 1992 first class season in the West Indies Kenny Benjamin and Linden Joseph both took 33 wickets.Benjamin took them at 20.51 and Joseph at 17.54. Cummings took 9 wickets at 26.66

No matter how you slice it or dice it Anderson Cummings was a mediocre bowler and the fact that Bajans actually boycotted that test match is a stain on Barbados cricket and I would think something they would want to forget.

@Dukes

This was played out in real time, with my Antiguans cricket brothers here in Calgary, not decades later.

I was strong and fearless back then; both players' careers were in their infancy.

I was proud of the cricket fraternity on the Island.
