@imusic

I like Sinclair because he often seems to make some type of impact. He is a world class fielder. As a bowler he looks innocuous but he was effective and took wickets in Pakistan. As a batsman he has potential that is yet to be developed. He always seem to give his best when he plays and add some life to the team. I am surprised to hear he is hard to get along with.

Dember and Holder are similar to Pierre but less consistent in accuracy, they do not have enough variety for international cricket. Both Sinclairs are good bowlers, but being in a team with so many other spinners they will not get enough overs to prove themselves. Also fighting for playing time for Guyana is Nedd, who has potential.

@dayne

I accept your point. Iin such a case, the Captain and management need to balance winning hte Cup (using Permaul only) and developing the post Permaul spinners like Nedd, Sinclair and others. Difficulty is that we have a million left arm orthodox bowlers and very few offspinners and even fewer that show the potential to develop. If both Sinclairs can be developed, that would be a real plus for WI cricket. That is why I think that if they have dropped Academy and CCC, there should be at least a President's XI team in our FC competition that would take players that may be on verge of being A team level who do not get enough play time in their home team. I would add Keemo Paul Joshua Bishop, Bowen Tuckett and a few others to that list and I am sure that there are others up and down the Caribbean who can make a decent XV that can challenge any of the regional FC teams

@anthonyp

That being said, he's not better than Chase.. especially when it comes to bowling. And I am not a Chase fan.

Stats don't agree with your comments...

The boy had played in 4 tests.... toughest conditions and oppositions....played very important role...both with bat and ball...

Agree with you that he does have attitude problem.....

As for Sinclair jr and Lookie...they are no doubt talented but to compare a player, who did commendable display... Against Australia in Australia and Pakistan in Pakistan... unfair and unjust

@bird

he is picked to bowl off spin, he is not even a 3rd division off spinner

That may be your opinion but his F.C. dungheap exceeds others F.C. dungheap.....his international 4 tests speaks otherwise....
