I know what we the people would say but as a former sportsman I know the itch to compete in big tournaments. And when influential people come knocking and you fans start calling your name it is easier to say yes than no.

Pooran....mentor destroyed his international career......add to it the insane analogy of selection by sole selector....players should be playing all formats..... although the players, who play all formats are in majority....but few exceptions...like De Kock,David,et al....De Kock even returned from retirement....so both for betterment of Pooran and west Indies cricket....better sense prevails...
