Last week, amid criticism of her support, she cited ‘tens of thousands of illegal Venezuelan immigrants’ whom she said were putting a strain on the country’s services. She also suggested that Caricom countries absorb some of the migrants who reside here.
Maybe Caricom countries should get together and each of them could take in some of the illegal Venezuelans living here. And they can also speak to their friends in Caracas to take back the 200 Venezuelan criminals in our jails which they have refused to do for over two months,” she said.

Kamla could do a deal with Guyana to send them there

Thu, Oct 30, '25 at 11:25 AM

@sudden

Send them to Mia's BIM. They need population.

Thu, Oct 30, '25 at 11:34 AM

@sudden

Guyana have tens of thousands of them already....in fact Venezuela is claiming 2/3 of Guyana....and threatening to move in....WTF has Caricom been doing about this other to make hollow and cowardly pronouncements.....dem still want to cozy up to Venezuela....which has obviously emboldened dem

BTW....Kamla has publicly said on many occasions T&T will help to defend Guyana against Venezuela

How is she proposing to help Guyana defend itself in case of an attack by Ven?

Bim recently opened itself to unqualified free movement from Vincy, Belize and Dominica with citizenship and voting rights in 6 months

and we have loads of Guyanese there and more than a few Tits and JAs

we will see how that works out first

@sudden

well, Guyanese has made Bim productive

Thu, Oct 30, '25 at 11:55 AM

@DirtyDan

Thank god for Guyanese

I usually avoid foolishness, but; does The TNT leader not realize that war and support of war creates more refugees? US always bruk but nuh fix. In fact it is their unjust sanctions that created the Vene refugees crisis.

Then in response yes Madura took some undemocratic measures but yet American Prezis one a genocide supporter the other same plus a dictator use that as excuse to destroy the country

“I am not daunted by this at all. This just continues their pattern of bullying behaviour against their neighbours. The warships engaged in the drug-interdiction exercises are American property; why isn’t Maduro and the rest of the Venezuelan government calling President Trump’s name? Why aren’t they making declarations of persona non grata against him? The answer is obvious. They should call President Trump’s name; he is the commander of those warships. My Government will continue supporting drug-interdiction exercises against narco-traffickers in international waters.”

@Brerzerk

Yet again you fail to grasp real ground dynamics and perspective...if regime change occurs is now Vene going home, Vene like they country yinno..and it wont be no 'war'..it will be regime change the same regime change the Venezuelan people have been pleading for. Are you prepared to argue with them (In Spanish) ?

The Venezuelan migrant community in Trinidad and Tobago is in support of the US military action, which some believe is intended to overthrow Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro.

This is according to the head of La Romaine Migrant Support (LARMS) Angie Ramnarine, who has been involved with the migrant community since

Oh this is not to say that I support the actions..but like I said before any benefits derived would be appreciated..we have suffered long from the influences of the renegade mainland.

@bravos

He who feels it knows it best

but Kamla getting a bit beyond her best intentions

how would she help defend Guyana if Ven attacks Guyana?

@sudden

how would she help defend Guyana if Ven attacks Guyana?

@sudden

What she said is that she would allow the US to operate out of T&T if Venezuela attacked Guyana..I think it's even mentioned in the article I posted above..

She has been very clear on that, and I mean it would be the right stance in supporting a 'CARICOM' member in distress ..and the only one that isn't a Caribbean island and in fact located on the South American mainland, the other islands only supports Ven for energy concessions favorable agreements etc, and are insulated from all the mainland negatives by T&T, so their view of the situation is a bit one-sided but naive, unllike T&T's from the other angle, who has been facing the negatives for far too long and also stands to suffer from the potential loss or disruption of similar agreements.

Yes so who knows it feels it is quite apt here..
