Centuries from Cephas Cooper and Shatrughan Rambaran helped the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force chase down a revised target of 302 to defeat the T&T Bolivarian XI by five wickets in a high-scoring, 50-over, practice match at the Queen’s Park Oval, yesterday.
The Bolivarian XI compiled a competitive 317 for nine from 44 overs, as Teshawn Castro led the charge with 92 while Kyle Ramdoo and Crystian Thurton chipped in with 46 and 49 not out, respectively. The Red Force are gearing up for the CG United Super50 Cup to be staged in Trinidad later this month, while the T&T Bolivarian XI are preparing to take part in the Bolivarian Games in Peru, also later this month.
