Bang maybe was tactical to upset Phil’s best laid plans; but in NZ it would be criminal to not use a seamer while the ball is new…re pitch etc?

Captaincy was good this game, I must admit.
What I liked was Hope's body language.
He reminded me of Powell as cappo.
Powell always looked in command and never looked panicked.
Hope looked composed in the field as cappo.
Smiling, throwing up the ball when he received it, consulting with bowlers/fielders etc.
What I especially liked is the consultation by Holder, Chase, Powell, Shepherd and King.
This is what senior players are supposed to do to assist the cappo and the team.
Credit to Scammy as he used to get a lot of assist when he was cappo.
