ah mean Springer looked like he played 100 matches with bat, ball and in the field. He was excellent in all departments. While we are thinking Joseph, Joseph, Seales maybe we should be looking for Springers.

glad to see springer get his chance he has been mishandled by barbados and the wi selectors in the past

Flavour of the moment

lets see how long that lasts before peeps here start demanding he get drap.

Typical WI “fans”

@methodic

Stop it, Springer was not mishandled, he underperformed due to the fact that he was often carrying an injury most of his career.

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 10:47 AM

@imusic

well, our biggest problem is death bowling, he bowled in the death with conviction and intelligence. That is all you can ask for

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 10:50 AM

@velo

This is inaccurate Springer was mishandled by anybody why do you purpose in your heart to spread such a thing

Shamar been around a long time, glad he get a chance

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 2:05 PM

@methodic

No

we can ask for a lil consistency

Lewis and King were the latter-day answer to Gayle and Anybody…until Lewis spent more time on the injured list and King forgot how to bat

Rovman was a revelation after ‘Sammy humanely relived him of captaincy’ until a brain fade worthy of a rookie

Akeal’s ‘maturity’ impressed even Powen, until all this licks with the ball and misses with the bat

and Athanaze was the newborn Sobers, then this…

let’s just wait a couple days before we go and rob Guyana of a few Springers nuh!

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 2:05 PM

@methodic

He is not even the best ‘Shamar’ we have in the pool!

@tc1

What happened to Chamar Holder?

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 4:25 PM

@velo

Springer often had injuries even after he played his winning role on Patriots victories in 2001 he had an injury year after theat kept him out of a lot of cricket. Im glad to see him back and really hope he stays healthy cause the boy can bat and bowl and would be good for us in the death overs

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 5:37 PM

@Halliwell

Akeal’s ‘maturity’ impressed even Powen, until all this licks with the ball and misses with the bat

They don’t call powen “weather vane” fuh nutting

Sun, Nov 9, '25 at 8:50 PM

@openning

.maybe his body give up on him, have not heard about him in a while..

Mon, Nov 10, '25 at 12:29 PM

@openning

Didn't C. Holder play for Barbados and CCC last year? I heard that he an Kraigg do not get along, and Kraigg does not want C. Holder on any team he is captaining. That was the reason for the switch to CCC last year when Kraigg came back to play for Barbados.

@hawk

Because cicket in barbados is bull s@@t i know that and i hardly spend time there anymore .can not develop nothing when it comes to cricket young cricketers will keep falling through the cracks .my former neighbour rohan nurse is a good guy but his qualifications as a coach?hmmm i know why i said springer was mishandled .the selectors tried to turn him into opening fast bowler and he failed had him batting all the way at number 9 for barbados .then got rid of him
