This not making any sense. Oshane did not even play in our sub-regional tournament yet he makes the squad. Meanwhile Walsh Jr is omitted due to politics and young pacers like Kelvin Pitman and Javier Spencer don't make the cut.

14 Man squad:

Karima Gore Captain

Carlon Bowen Tuckett VC

Jewel Andrew

Kofi James

Jahmar Hamilton

Mikyle Louis

Tyrone Williams

Ishmael Peters

Nathan Edward

Rahkeem Cornwall

Micah Mckenzie

Chamiqueko Landefort

Daniel Doram

Oshane Thomas

@voiceofreason

Why is Andrew playing in this tournament instead of the U19.

@voiceofreason

What possess de Landeforts I wonder???

@tc1

Good question. I believe Jewel is already a certainty for the World cup so perhaps they want to look at more players.

@imusic

Looking forward to the Pacer Landefort from Anguilla and the Leggie Micah from Antigua and Barbuda.

I believe Jewel is already a certainty for the World cup

What makes you believe that?

@voiceofreaso

Are you telling us you do not know that a player drafted into a franchise does not need to be part of that regional franchise's trials? Or are you just expressing your usual insularity?

if carlon bowen tuckett is the vc is hamilton playing as a batsman

GM. Any updates on the injuries to the WI fast bowlers, Alzarri and Shamar Joseph?

Wed, Nov 12, '25 at 9:29 AM

@velo

Good question, it is obvious that the Leewards are planning for the future, last season Hamilton was the most consistent batter on the team

@Bamboocane

Alzari did work out with the Super50 squad and there was word that he would captain them. I am not sure what is the issue. It is either he got selected for New Zealand or suffered another setback. Will soon know.

@velo

Jahmar is good enough to play as a batsman. He let the batting aggregates in both the Super 50 and R4D tournaments. He is also an inspirational leader that we would need in the dressing room and on the field.

@Brerzerk

Why can he not play in the LICA tournament just to get his form in? Or is he so good that he doesn't need it? There is a mountain of evidence to the contrary.

@imusic

Was he not the tops- scorer for the West Indies at the last World cup?

@voiceofreason

With our poor admins everywhere we have to wonder if he was invited.
