King, batting at #2, would've made 2 runs, double that of the current #2. 😎

2.5

W

Duffy to Rutherford, OUT

nicked and gone! WI four down, and Duffy has three in the over!

Sherfane Rutherford c †Conway b Duffy 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

2.4

Duffy to Rutherford, no run

peach! Back of a length in the channel and this fizzes through. Rutherford goes feeling for it and sees the ball whistle past his outside edge

Rutherford is the new batter in

2.3

W

Duffy to Auguste, OUT

leg stump out of the ground, and Duffy has another! This is a sizzler. Starting on a full length on middle stump and swerving back in devilishly. Auguste tries to flick it away but is too late on the stroke, perhaps beaten by the movement and beaten for pace. The ball bursts through the gap, and West Indies in a spot of bother now!

Ackeem Auguste b Duffy 8 (5b 2x4 0x6) SR: 160

2.2

1

Duffy to Chase, 1 run

back of a length on middle and off. Chase stays back and turns it into the square leg region to get off the mark

Chase walks in, much earlier than he would have anticipated or hoped

2.1

W

Duffy to Hope, OUT

goes straight up, and Conway does the rest! Banged into the track on off stump, and this seems to zip through. Hope wants to hack this over cow corner but makes a complete mess of the stroke. The ball skews up off the top edge and swirls and swirls. Thankfully for NZ, Conway has the gloves on, and he tracks the ball all the way into his mitts. WI lose their skipper!

Shai Hope c †Conway b Duffy 11 (5b 1x4 1x6) SR: 220

Earl J: "Why was Auguste not getting behind the ball to play his stroke." -- Probably trying to give his hands the room to whip through the ball. But got to make contact for that...
