Some of the shot selection has just been dumb. The top order has once again put the team under pressure and that has to be it for Rutherford. Something is not right with him at the moment and he has been given more than enough chances to come good. Hopefully, Chase and Holder can get a good partnership to give us some slim hope of getting up to a score we can try to defend.

Well Rutherford in ODIs still averages 46.85 , while King averages sub 30. So that is a no brainer to persist with him in that format. In T20IS not sure why the is being persisted with.
