So called conservatives who looked the way other thru this guy's malfeasance because he said what they wanted to hear ..even though he is a proven compulsive, unrepentant and likely pathological liar...have a lot to contemplate.

Even if you knew nothing about him before....the guy is on tape saying that his celebrity and power status allows him to grab em by the ..ahem..feline creature..should have been enough to say...nah this guy doesnt need more power...he needs therapy..but naaaah.

The sad part is that the white supremacy agenda is soooo powerful..they might find a way to weasel him out of any real consequence yet.

Why would anyone contemplate becoming a Christian as they observe all of this?

@Cheeks

Someone calling themselves Christian doesn’t make them a model of Christianity

same as someone in prison saying they innocent and being the mostliest bigliest innocent

folks fighting against their conscience will always find an excuse

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who could step back and detach from the rabid TDS here.

Obviously, Trump supporters not blind to his many flaws or behaviour. Clearly, the choice wasn’t about him as a person. It was about where they saw great merica heading, their great merica, not the misfits’.

More than likely, “progressive” policies were moving in ways that didn’t align with their values. Who in their right minds could approve of biological males competing in women's sports or gender surgery for children? … how schools handle gender identity without parental input, or free-for-all immigration. All happening without consensus? Nah man.

And then shoving those things down their throats, without their input or concerns being addressed.

Kamala said nothing that made them think she would do anything otherwise, quite the opposite in fact.

It goes without saying that Trump's personal conduct was an issue, but teh fear of what the other side’s agenda would do to their communities, their kids' schools, and their everyday freedoms was a bigger threat. The vote was for policy shift, not for Trump as a person. But allyuh know that.

@VIX

Sounds like cutting off your nose to spite your face. You can talk about what makes you feel more sophisticated than the unwashed masses here..but the truth is:

  1. He is overtly racist - long list of statements ..you can research them
  2. Lies compulsively
  3. Petty name calling and behaviour that some these same rabid followers would spank their kids for
  4. Convicted criminal
  5. Convicted sexual assaulter
  6. Knows nothing really, lucky to have been born with the gold spoon. Just pick any topic that you feel you are comfortable with ..and listen to him talk about it....pure garbage.

Watering down these critical matters down to some regular flawed human being ( as we all are) is nonsense.

The gender confusion is a low percentage matter (how many people does this really affect in a real way) that was successfully weaponized to create outrage to get people to look the other way over DEI issues that are entirely justifiable to ensure everyone gets a seat at the table...and well Project 2025 ie the white supremacy agenda.

@Cheeks

In summary, he is void of Presidential Acumen.

@VIX

This whole thing about allowing yourself to be distracted/ outraged by a 0.001% matter into supporting a racist, supremacist agenda is the real DS.

@Drapsey

He is void of human decency first and foremost. Presidential ie leadership acumen is impossible without that baseline requirement.

I agree they were concerned about the direction of the country, but I think that for white America, the issues you identified paled in comparison to the fear of the browning of America -- the fear that America is on the fast track to becoming a majority non-white country. America already is majority nonwhite for people below 18 or some age in that range, but the so called open borders fueled xenophobic fears among whites.

Of course, open borders and gender-identity madness drew in a large number of non-whites who voted for Trump. But based on the election results last week, it seems that hispanic Americans have had a rude awakening in the space of a mere 10 months of the Trump presidency.

Christianity is for sinners, kafir, or infidel! Not for the righteous!

On the money! That's why the Dems can't still find their way forward.

@Cheeks

The Gender Issue is not merely a low percentage matter but an excuse. Deep down vast majority of 'Mercans enjoy Trumps name-calling and belittling. "Giving the finger" is fundamental to their being. It is very easy to sway ones to a narrative "herd" by constantly, emotionally repeating it. Few yrs ago I saw two incidents of police shooting mentally disturbed men in the head (one had a lil pocket knife one nothing). No less than Obama came out saying like all workers police need to return home to their families.

No decent society would elect Trump much less twice, none!
