they will drop him for a less talented player with a lower average.
Athanaze needs big runs or else
@methodic
Well with an ODI average of 23.50 and a strike rate of 80 Iβm interested to see who would be worse π«
@methodic
He has only played 16 ODIS stop/start Matches so singling him out is a bit harsh and unecessary. This is just his 2nd series and 4th game if he plays tonight.
He played 9 mtahces between September 23 and February 24 then he was dropped. Then 3 games october to December 24, then dropped. now just returned for 3 games vs Bangladesh.

For a player thst people say has so much talent he really dont score a lot of runs at any level even in a poor fc west indies tournament.
@velo
Point. He is the poor man's Hooper of this era. the man had one good season. Similarly with Auguste, who just had one good match.
@PalsofMine
Bro donβt disrespect Sir Carl Hooper like that please he certainly was an unfulfilled talent but heβs a cricketing God compared to guys WI have now lol
I would more use a Devon Smith or Kieron Powell comparison!!!
@voiceofreason
Bro when you are talented, you are judged differently. Trinidad dropped Barath for lesser talented players.
@voiceofreason
Athanaze and Carty lost us this match.
Too many dot balls.
29 from 58.
32 from 67.
Not good enough.
