Use this game as a benchmark

Though this should apply to the bowlers, but as i speak i am thinking of the batters

This wasn't a horrible game by WI but we definitely did miss a trick on a game that we should have won.

Here I presuppose that the trends will continue more or less in how the other games unfold. The general template wasn't bad but needs to be tweaked.

Whether we're setting or chasing a score the batters while seeking to preserve wickets for the back end, most definitely cannot keep at this ridiculous strike rate.

I can't fault the bowling too much. We definitely lost this game with the bat. A game we should have won.

If conditions are as similar, WI should look to get two or three overs from Anthanze to keep Forde from bowling in the back end. Surely Anthanze can do any worse than Forde's economy in the back end. At the top he is brilliant.

That's my take

@InHindsight

I'd be impressed if WI actually learn from and build on what we saw in this first game.

They've yet to show they are capable of learning on the job and adapting to circumstances
