not sure KN knows that their only brother was Phil Edwards who ran for Canada. The other sister was my paternal grandmother - mother of the late PA Cummings (JA) and four sisters. Two of my siblings attended- -they phoned me from the dinner just before the formalities started. - real nice to see a business last five generations. Big up my peeps. Big up New Amsterdam, Main and Coburg streets,

One-of the sisters, Sarah, was married to Jamaican Maurice Grey - Ramona is their youngest child.

Maurice was a New York Supreme Court Judge. When he died a few years ago funeral services were held in NY and Kingston JA.

Chrissy that's marvelous and to think all this was achieved in a country where until the 1960's married women couldn't open a bank account without husband's permission. As Caribbean-Americans I'd say their achievements/contributions to The African/American community are up there with Claude McKay, Garvey, C.L.R., Ferdie Smith, Cleveland Robinson, Guiner and Van-Sertima, Shirley Chisholm.

I know Vix "toting" us "misfits" but he should take stock on these sometime.

You must be truly proud of your relatives.
