The USA does not need Trinidad

to launch an attack on Venezuela. So said the Professor on the nation's TV as she so eloquently defended the Trinidad government's position in collaborating with the USA, as they gather their huge military hardware in the Caribbean waters. She said that she was awake up to after 3:00AM preparing material to present to her students at the university in just a couple hours. She reminded the hosts of the program, that unlike most folks on social media who just post anything for facts, she, as professor must seek out the real facts. I agree with that statement nn principle. She quoted statistics to show that since the bombings by the USA, crime in Trinidad and Tobago had dropped. She defended the government, since they campaigned on a promise to reduce crime. It did not matter to her that not a shred of evidence was provided as proof that the bombings were indeed of narcotic traders. It did not matter that the killings were illegal and that Trinidad was an accomplice. Just kill them violently, as long as Trinidad benefits. She is well aware, and indicated that she heard it from the horses mouth, that regime change in Venezuela was the ultimate goal, but Trinidad government did not say that according to her. It does not matter that they are harbouring some of the biggest military exercises along with the USA, right under the nose of Venezuela. And, she points out that Venezuela's Mudaro is not addressing Trump at all, but continues to address Trinidad's government every day. She thinks Mudaro is crazy as a result. She pays little heed of the fact that the USA must leave one day, and that Trinidad would have to fend for itself.

Having heard all of that, I had to ask myself, does the USA needing Trinidad and Tobago just defined by physically launching attacks from Trinidad's soil? No! They need Trinidad's assistance to give credibility to their criminal acts. They don't need to plant radars at Antigua or Grenada to attack Venezuela. When they make the request, they are only trying to get partners on board to give legitimacy to their crimes. So, they do need these countries beyond the physical. And, it is absurd that she does not understand why Mudaro addresses Trinidad with his criticism. Imagine my neighbour harbours a bandit from outside to torture me day and night.

I am hoping that the students are smarter than the Professor. That is what happens when we support foolishness. We sound ridiculous when we have to defend such. I remember one of my childhood stories when the simple man, at the demise of his well educated boss, concluded that "not all educated men are smart." The simple man was smart enough to take cover before the lion approached.
