Isn't Jamaica in the Intercontinental Playoffs in March 2026 in Mexico?
REGGAE BOYZ VS Curaçao - DO or DIE MATCH!
The teams are Iraq (AFC), Bolivia (Conmebol), Democratic Republic of Congo (CAF), Jamaica and Suriname (Concacaf), plus New Caledonia, representing Oceania. Six different paths, one shared ambition: becoming one of the final two nations to secure a World Cup ticket.

I am not too unhappy about not qualifying because I could see that Yorke was using many young players some I never heard of.We were always third best and considering the players that Jamaica and Curacao had,it was a forgone conclusion after we drew our first match,we should have won it we didn;t have a finisher,our problem was unable to put away many chances.DY say he would like to build on these players starting with the GC and other tournaments,I think it's a good idea,
I would like to wish Jamaica all the best for WC26.
I remember when we drew with Cur.acao,the Jamaica supporters said thank you Trini,and when we drew with Jamaica Curacao supporters said thank you Trinidad😆
@camos
The best summation of the state of affairs as far as the Reggae Boyz are concerned…

Well said by Curtis. One thing though people are focused on the population size of Curacao but only one player was born in Curacao, the rest born and developed in Netherlands with 15 of them having played youth football for the Netherlands. On the other hand only 4 of our UK born players ever played youth football for the UK. Haiti recruited most of their players from France including quality EPL & Ligue 1 players. That is why they have qualified as well.
So Curtis is correct about the lack of quality in our recruitment. Curacao, Suriname & Haiti all have a formal system of recruitment, funded by their football federation with government support. The JFF does not have this. The only recruitment done is by 3 Jamaicans, acting voluntarily. Does that make sense?
