What did Kevlon Anderson do to get drop?

Played a single test match and was forced to bat in a position that he never batted before... against the best pink ball bowler. Warmed the bench for the other series and now dropped.

Well done 27.. ah guess he's making space for the new saviors... Auguste will be in the next test squad.

Pack of jokers....

@anthonyp

Why is Warrican the VP?

He will not play a test .

NZ wickets are fast and you already have the Capt Chase to do spin duties .

Sammy is a Big Dunce!

@anthonyp

This is a travesty...Has not been given a deserved run. Was cast in a very very tough situation on debut.

@anthonyp

Anderson should not have been selected in the first place, he clearly was not ready, he needs to go on some A team tours first

Thu, Nov 20, '25 at 3:55 PM

Actually Anderson not being selected is a blessing in disguise for Anderson.

And Oh...27 may be in danger.

@dayne

You got all of that based on a single test match? Where all the senior batsmen hid and sent a youngster on debut to go and face Starc and company? Is Athanaze ready? Auguste? Carty?

How many young batsmen in the region got a 40+ FC average? Watch the batsman who's not ready finish amongst the top run scorers in the current super50.

Carty was dropped for repeated failures vs the same Oz Team, yet you harping on about Kevlon. Auguste was not selected but if he comes back to the Caribbean and does well hw ill be selected as anyone can see he is a cut above the rest.

. Athanaze was not in the Oz Series, but fared well vs India.

@voiceofreason

Some of yall could hardly help yourselves...

What did Carty do to even make a test squad in the first place? Yet 27 played him in 7 test matches before he was dropped.

Anderson on the other hand.. forced to open in the pink ball test... didn't play another match and now dropped.

All that after averaging over 65+ in the last FC season... and being one of the very few young batsman in the region with a 40+ FC average.

Yuh really gotta get the right passport in WI these days... since we on it, what did Athanaze do to regain his test spot? Btw he averaged 24 in the India series, in your world thats good?

Thu, Nov 20, '25 at 5:59 PM

@anthonyp

Your boy bats at 3 right? One away from opening right? Your boy just wasn't ready for this level. Not saying he cannot be ready in another 2-3 years. Athanaze at least looks the part and has dominated at U-19 world level.

Thu, Nov 20, '25 at 6:14 PM

@voiceofreason

Lmao that's the best shyte you could come up with to defend your master?

Which WI batsman looked ready that night? Or in that match?

As I said earlier... you just need the right passport these days and you good to go.

Can't expect you to see the anything wrong with him being dropped without being given a fair chance because yuh head deh too far up 27 behind... yall must come out and breathe one one time.

On a side note... Kevlon also dominated at the WI U19 level.. even scored a ton against scotland and finished the WC as one of their leading scorers... all that with the incorrect passport.

Its also ironic to see yuh saying that someone who actually earned his spot need at least 2-3 years more to develop but proudly defending your master hand picked savior who doesn't even have a ton to their name as yet... yall don't have any shame at all?

@velo

King is not out though...he is in the squad.
