Just found out how bad things have been going in Bim with murders, had no idea,Bim's current rate is actually rivaling T&T's which is relatively low so far this year.. even months with double figures, wtf ?

Brother, as post-colonial, and especially post-slavery societies become more urbanized crime/violent crime follows. Free regional travel/migration and being in The Americasdoan help WI. 'Bout 40yrs ago while suggesting that possibility to a Trini n Lucian they were real vex. A comprehensive Caricom plan is needed. But Yard has to also have its own master plan that compliment the regional one too.

@bravos

45 murders in Bim as of last week in Nov 2025

315 (approx) murders in T&T as of last week in Nov 2025

Bim murders doubled in two years remains moderate compared to T&T which saw a double-digit decline in homicides.

Bim recorded 23 murders in 2023

Too, too much for a once small and peaceful land. Good immigrants are gonna end up with the stigma of the minority bad. And even if that is controlled the fight for scarce resources will see youths turn to crime.

@Castled

T&T projected to end up at about 24/100k and Bim close to 20/100k . That represents a significant decrease for T&T and the opposite for Bim.

Don't want that for my only second home at all, just wasn't aware it was so bad especially the first half of the year as I've learned..

Yeah I think if some effort and will is put into it we can beat the scourge..weird to me to be reading about what's been happening in Bim, seems no island is immune..
