Unfortunately, not all who pull triggers are good shooters. Social media is a danger to the world, and it is important that those of us who know better, take up the responsibility of coaching those whom we have influence upon. A lot of folks use social media to hurt people; to destroy others.

It is even worse in politics, and where those in opposition see no problem in using it to spread lies, misinformation, disinformation, besmirching. When and if you win, it will come back to bite you, because the same tools would be used against you. Now, as the backlash is occurring, suddenly you are the moral authority over how social media should be used. It does not work so; we have to be consistent to be taken seriously. This is what some of us were concerned about for so long, because we were concerned about the damage it would inflict upon everyone. Misuse of social media can destroy us if cool heads in authority do not prevail.

It is unfortunate now that suddenly, as the backlash is having its effects, the hypocrisy of moral authority surfaces. Worst of all, a house slave is loud in trying to call on the USA to take beack the visas of all their nationals who criticize them on social media. They want to silence everybody now.
