Yes that is correct and his party will take the Government 10 -5 or 11-4. So I believe he should resign from the CWI post.

Do you seriously think that it is possible for someone to represent their constituency in St. Vincent while running CWI in a different country? Do you think the ICC rules allow this?? The problem with all this is that we do not have journalists in the WI who are worth anything.

please, don't waste your time answering Edrich. He has no concept of MGT, Leadership, nor Conflict of Interest. His only concerns are having ppl from his area in as many positions as possible as that allays his insecurities.

Yes there have many cricket board presidents around the world who have been MP so no ICC rule forbids that.
I dont see any reason for Shallow to resign the President of CWI just because he is a MP or a Minister as CWI President is is not a full time job, his responsibility is to chair board meetings and represent the CWI at ICC, but the functioning of the organization is led by the CEO.

You will know better than me, but I seem to remember some reporting that said CWI’s constitution (they actually have a constitution??) prevents exactly that.

Will there not be a conflict of interest where he pushes for more WI games in SVG or more funding for Windwards/SVG? Does Caricom not have a cricketing committee and SVG would have a member on that committee can he not influence their agenda?
There was some controversy during the election campaign when U-19 series vs England scheduled for Arnos Vale, SVG was canceled due to scheduling conflicts according to the then PM Ralph Gonzalves. NDP was saying that he did not want Shallow to look good so he created that excuse. Series was re-scheduled for Grenada.
