It seems to me that the important consequence of the St. Vincent elections is that Dr. Shallow has to resign from his position as President of Cricket West Indies.It is a straight forward rule.

didnt Julian Hunte continue to serve as WICB President while holding elected office?

Fri, Nov 28, '25 at 9:00 AM

@FanAttick

No.

Hunte was not in Government or opposition when he was at the helm of the then named WICB. A matter of fact he lost an election in 2006 before taking the Presidency in 2007.

The tragedy is that journalists in the Caribbean have not been writing about this and nobody seems to care.It is mind boggling the level of apathy and neglect that occurs in our countries.

You say this in 2025 when The North American so called Leader of the Free World daily dispels any every law of Governance and decorum and decency? With ZERO consequences as a convicted felon to boot?

The Journalists in the USA have been attempting to hold Trump accountable for his actions but the reality is that apart from highlighting his nastiness, there is not much they can do.

The Journalists in the Caribbean can not even be bothered to ask Shallow any questions.Now if you feel that because Trump seems to be getting away with all sorts of malfeasance, then it is OK for Caribbean Journalists to abandon their duty to their profession then I must say I am disappointed in that approach.

Millions of Americans have been out in the streets protesting Trump's actions and words.Right now Journalists are bending everyone's ears about Trump continuously.
