@FanAttick

As the saying go "where there's smoke there's fire",not a problem for TT.The Americans just left TT after installing high powered security systems to see all the Cartels delivering their stuff,they are still blasting them outta the water,I say good job.It will stop the bloodshed in TT that the PNM government allowed to flourish for many years.

@granite

yDo you really believe those actions will end gang crime and murders?

First remove the guns! Gangs if they can't get drugs to sell and weed is not

leagl they'll sell that, then' they'll scam, pimp, traffic humans and more.

All those are competitive gang activiyities that result in murders bro.

@Brerzerk

They in Trinidad are aware of the sins you talk about and they are all related to the Drugs business,I feel it was the best way to deal with it,the American way.TT have suffered long enough,it's not nice when people are selling their properties and running off to foreign parts example,my sister, husband and child. Only a few days ago 430 kilos of "creepy Ganja" ( it came from Colombia as is the case through Venezuela).was seized from a car ,it was 47 million dollars.,I assume that was being held secretly until the Americans left but the TT Police are working better than they did before.the new government took the helm.The new government has promised to deal with the things you spoke about and are doing so,The security system that was installed in Tobagoby the Americans will eventually cut the drug,people and ammunition traffic,i hope so just like all TT people.Systems have been installed before but once they stop working the government don't lift a finger,they seem to want the drugs,ammunition and people trafficking ,we can only hope that Trinidad and Tobago isn't ravaged by those sins that the world is experiencing at the moment.Due Respect.

@sgtdjones

I would like to make a little comment on a different topic,remember all the mouthing off from CARICOM MEMBERSwhen TT government allowed the US to train with the TT defence Force.Well you probably know by now that the same USA went to GUYANA and did the same with the Guyana Defence Force,there hasn't been a sound from the same CARICOM dem quiet like a mouse.I can't help but say CARICOM would like to see TT in much more turmol,specially since UNC cut PNM down to size.As you mentioned they don't really want a "zone of peace,"they prefer a zone of coke"

Fri, Nov 28, '25 at 10:00 PM

@granite

They train with Jamaica too! I've been trying to highlight that that's usually done fore defence, drug interdiction and disaster Preparedness, not to 'ready' US forces for war in the region by invasion rather than protection.

Granite, your unique spin on this one please: source is BBC

Donald Trump has said that he will pardon the former president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, who was convicted of drug trafficking charges in a US court last year.
The US president said Hernández had been "treated very harshly and unfairly" in a social media post announcing the move on Friday.
Hernández was found guilty in March 2024 of conspiring to import cocaine into the US, and of possessing machine guns. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison.

@Halliwell

How does the above affect you?

Didn't the BBC executives resign after posting partial portions of Trump's speech to fit their purpose?

So now you fickle Brits believe the BBC? Did you drink your bitter coffee today....🙄

">Donald Trump granted clemency to private equity executive David Gentile, who had just begun a seven-year prison sentence for what prosecutors described as a $1.6bn fraud scheme, reported ">the New York Times.
