We make the same mistakes over and over and seemingly have no memory of past mistakes.
Having great potential does not mean you will fulfill that potential..
Jewel Andrew has been touted with more fanfare than anyone else in my memory.I have been following WI cricket since the mid 1960's and despite the fact that Andrew has had very limited success at the senior level in white ball cricket I keep hearing much hyperbole.It is my view that we should focus him to play red ball cricket as he has had more success in that area and it is easier to pivot from red to white than vice-versa.He should play red ball cricket OUTSIDE the Caribbean in order to improve but sadly nobody is thinking along those lines and if things continue the way they seem to be going he will not become the great cricketer that most of us think he can become.
