So I was supposed to be ‘back a yard’ last night but my Cancun to a DR flight was three hours late so the connecting flight to Kingston left us. That meant a three hour drive to Santo Domingo - the next flight to Kingston leaves tomorrow after lunch so I get two days all inclusive. Nuff nuff security around here but the cleaner still walked in unannounced

Are you saying cleaning lady open door an' walk in jus' so? I never fail to have the "Don't disturb" on the outside and the latch on the inside when in.

Been hanging with two RIU Mexicans. One lives in Hanover.- the other in Trelawny. Both call me mummy so yuh done know they are Mexican Yardies. One loves Marley and Yellow Man.
RIU sent a lot of staff home for a break after the hurricane - most had no power or water😀

Hanover and Trelawny would indeed be two of the RIU locations, in the case of the one in my parish, past Green Is. down at Bloody Bay. I think the affected RIU's are aiming at a by-New-Year reopening so hopefully your 'sons' will be back soon.
Re 2nd post... might you be mixing up PR with DR? The former I know very well, but never been to the latter.

Hope you enjoyed your birthday. Dominican Rep. is a nice place. Have some friends there but I could not live there for sure. Their culture denies the existence of their obvious African genes and influence in their country.
Did the hotel you stayed in have Russian translation on their signs ? They receive a lot of tourism from Russia,
