How much he muk. bhai?

42.5

Nandre Burger to Kohli, out Caught by Rickelton!! Very good catch running back by Rickelton from cover. Kohli waves his bat to all corners of the ground as he walks off. Is that the last time we see him play an international on this ground? The crowd give him a standing ovation and a richly deserved one too. He is defeated by the lack of pace as he steps out and looks to loft the length delivery, right off the bottom of the bat and Rickelton kept his eyes as he ran back some 10-15 yards and then took it with two hands as the ball came over his shoulder. Then tumbles to ground. End of a fantastic knock.

Kohli c Rickelton b Nandre Burger 135(120) [4s-11 6s-7]

52nd ODI hundred! Runs across, leaps and punches the air as the crowd goes wild! Has looked absolutely sublime today right from the moment he walked in. 😃

Virat Kohli | Player of the Match:
Today was really nice to kind of get into the game like that. Pitch played decently in the first 20-25 overs before it started to slow down. Was just about staying the space of enjoyment. Of course when you get a start, you get into the situation, you know what needs to be done. The experience kicks on. I've never been a believer of preparation. All my preparation is mental. As long as my physical levels are up and the mental sharpness is there, then you know it's fine. I took a day off before the game. I'm 37 and need time for recovery. That's how it's always going to be - I'm just playing one form of the game. If you've played 300-odd games and so much cricket, you know when you're hitting balls in practice, you know the reflexes are there and the physical ability is there to bat long. As long as you're hitting the ball well and playing good cricket, it's about physically fit, mentally ready and excited.

This is ODI....not T20I

50 overs = 300 balls x 1.12 = 336

@Halliwell

How do you solve a problem called Virat Kohli? You don't. You sit back and marvel at what the man can do, even at 37 and even if you're supporting his opponents. And be happy you don't have to bowl to him.

The South Africans didn't have an option in Ranchi on Sunday. They had to bowl to Kohli, and he made them pay for that impertinence.

Kohli's 120-ball 135 in the first ODI was his 83rd century in his 621st international innings. In ODI terms, it was his 52nd. That took him past Sachin Tendulkar for the most centuries in a particular format - Tendulkar scored 51 Test hundreds.

If it seems like we're comparing apples and pears, consider that Tendulkar scored his 49th and last ODI century in his 451st innings. Kohli has hurtled to 52 in 294, and who would say he doesn't have more left in the tank.

Is since last month he score that hundred and we still talking bout it? 😄

Mon, Dec 1, '25 at 9:22 AM

@Halliwell

And nobody talking bout Royal's 127 (with 4 4s and 11 6s), batting at #8, in the Scorpions loss to their Windwards counterparts in the recently concluded WI 50 overs tournament.

Actually, it's the only ton scored in the entire tournament.
