Not paid to bat gabriel years ago desided to go for almighty swipe at a ball and got bowled which gave pakistan the win in the wi when all he had to do was survive a couple of overs to draw the match .that was atrocious

West indies cricket spent years nurturing Philip , was the leading wicket taking pacer in the last regional 4 day if I recall correctly.
Then, come the test match where his style would suit and we are without 2 of our leading pacers we drop him.
Honestly no one could believe what we are seeing.
