The whole process was doomed when the selection of captain and vice was announced .

Chase was dropped from the test team and then brought back and appointed captain which was absolutely crazy and demoralizing.

As he is not a front line batsman or bowler his place in the team could I should never be guaranteed.

Also, heard his interview again before the match started and he comes across very uninspiring .

How he got the job is staggering.

For me, Josh should have been appointed, always encouraging on the pitch, displays strong leadership qualities . Nobody can say Imlach is any better than da silva.
