I just don't see anything special about him. He's inconsistent, slow and doesn't get any extra bounce with his height on a bouncy track.

layne is raw i think he was rushed into international cricket but i don't understand on how these tall wi fast bowlers can't seem to generate any pace at all he looks like a athletic guy

Amazing that just the other day Ravi Rampaul the bowling coach was lauded for his work with the bowlers, now all of a sudden Sammy is being blamed for the bowlers.
