The arrogance of this England outfit is pathetic. Jofra Archer actually arrived at the ground carrying a pillow under his arm. England would wrap up the last 4 wickets with ease and he could take a nap eh?

That was just the motivation the Aussies needed to extend their innings and post a mammoth total.

Currently, England are 121/4 (Crawley 44, Neser 2/27) still some 56 runs adrift. Wake up Jofra, time to get your pads on!

Just to add, perhaps the arrogance comes from the knowledge that they have such incredible strength in depth. Then again, perhaps not...the England Lions (A team) were skittled for 166 and the Australia A team are 554/7 in reply 😂

And all of this is happening WITHOUT Cummins & Hazlewood, two of the best bowlers in the world. Imagine England's capitulation had they been playing! 😆

Boland to Stokes, FOUR, on a length around leg, Stokes looks to flick it away, gets an inside edge that deflects off the pads and races away to the fence. England's deficit is down to 6

Day 4: 1st Session - scores level

A massive cheer rings around the ground as England wipe out the deficit. England still have a pulse. Stokes remains their beacon of hope - a man who has bailed them out countless number of times. Is another special chapter about to unfold today at the Gabba?

Doggett to Atkinson, out Caught by Smith!! Straight to mid-wicket and Smith won't drop that. A short of length delivery outside off, Atkinson goes on the back foot to pull, doesn't keep it down and it's an easy catch. The short ball again gets an England batter. Two quick wickets and England are down to their last pair now. Atkinson c Smith b Doggett 3(13)

Another comprehensive victory for the Aussies against the hapless Bazballing buffoons from England.

ENG 334 (Root 138*, Crawley 76, Starc 6/75) & 241 (Stokes 50, Neser 5/42)

AUS 511 (Starc 77, Weatherald 72, Labuschagne 65, Carey 63, Smith 61, Carse 4/152) & 69/2

Australia won by 8 wkts and lead the five match series 2-0. The next test match, the third in the series, starts in Adelaide on 17th December.

The arrogance of this team and Brits in general never ceases to amaze me.

Four words that they find impossible to say ' I made a mistake" still rings through.

They spent the last two years preparing solely for this series, they come up against an Oz team that has its captain and another front line bowler out injured, no idea what their opening partnership is and they get humiliated.

All because of old British so called stiff upper lip and arrogance.

Seeing them grovel is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

I don’t follow cricket as rabidly as I used to, but watching most of the recently concluded England vs India tests, I really thought England would be more competitive in the Ashes.
