So, the USA called on the Grenada government to grant them the permission to install "temporary" radars at the islands airport. the Grenada government did not meet the deadline, but has decided to seek advice to ensure that whatever decision they come up with, that it must not violate local laws; that it must not violate international laws. The Prime Minister also stated that the radars suggested by the USA are actually military radars, and Grenada does not have a military, and the airport is a civilian airport. The people have also been very vocal in condemning any attempt to place radars on their territory. All this seems to be heading to a clear no from Grenada.
Lo and behold, in the middle of the night, the USA sneaked into the airport in Tobago and placed radars there. But, in these small islands, you can't go unnoticed. like the moon, daylight catch up with them, and the people demanded to know, what and why? After a few lies, Kamla came up with the lame idea to ask the former administration how long was the radar at the airport compromised? Suddenly, by sheer coincidence, Kamla requested the radar to be placed at the Tobago airport. And just like the USA requested of Grenada, Kamla said that it is "temporary." Ah mean, it is just so insulting.
