Sure he has the ability to... but purple patches don't last forever and he's 35 at the end of this year.... he mostly just play Tests anyway, so he has a good chance if everything is "perfect" for him....

But we all know.... life ain't perfect, so there is that..... and things go south quickly as a sportsman ages and goes past his prime..... good luck to him, nonetheless.

will take him at the very least 2 years obviously based on the amount of test matches they play an the opponents....1000 runs per calendar year is quite a feat but no doubt he's a great one!
