Dear friends, I need some legal advice, please. There is an individual in the Richmond Hill community. His name is Vishnu Mahadeo and he’s been harassing me and many others repeatedly with phone calls to get us to sign up for free Medicaid and free food stamps, etc. etc.. I repeatedly told him by email, by text, and on the phone that I am not interested. I do not want it, but he continues to do this for the past two years. What legal steps can I take?

No joke. I’m very serious. He’s doing it to a lot of elderly people in the community who have shared it with me I did suggest to several of them the legal route but it means paying a lawyer.

The usual it means expense. Some can some can’t. I suggested approach one of the Guyanese lawyers in the community. Maybe they’ll do it for free.

I get these harassing calls in NJ all day, but these are from India. You have guys with thick Indian accents with names such as John Smith calling. I guess these guys believe that if you have reached a certain age you are easy pickings to be scammed.
