TTO teams play unbeaten in Bolivarian Games T20 openers


The TTO cricketers made a statement on the opening day of the T20 competition at the Bolivarian Games in Lima, Peru, yesterday.

The TTO men’s team crushed hosts Peru by nine wickets with a ruthless display before defeating Jamaica by six wickets in their second match to position themselves as front-runners for a berth in the gold medal match.

Meanwhile, the T&T women defeated the Jamaica women by seven wickets in their tournament opener, before whipping Barbados women by 108 runs later in the day.
